Doina Pīsla - Tehnical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania
Professor Doina PISLA is currently the Director of Council for University Doctoral Studies within the University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania and the Director of the Research Center for Robots Simulation and Testing - CESTER within the same university. Professor Doina PISLA obtained her PhD within the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in 1997. Following an academic carrier she became full professor at the Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering in 2005, teaching lectures in Modelling and Simulation of Robots and Medical Robotics. Prof. Pisla's research activity is focused mainly on the field of Robotics and Mechatronics, with emphasis on the Kinematics and Dynamics of parallel robots, Development of innovative medical robots, Reconfigurable structures. As a result of her scientific activity, prof. Pisla published over 150 peer-reviewed full papers in scientific journals and conferences, co-authored over 10 patents. She has been director or key member of more than 50 international and national projects. In the meanwhile she served in boards and program committees of various international conferences and congresses, being currently member of the Technical Committee for Computational Kinematics and for Biomechanical Engineering of IFToMM.

Dan Marghitu - Auburn University, USA
Professor Dan B. Marghitu is a professor of mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering at Auburn University, US. He holds a Ph.D. from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas and a DEA from Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, France. Dan B. Marghitu has published over 70 research papers in journals and he has authored or co-authored 6 textbooks in the areas of dynamics, robotics, and mechanisms. He has done work in impact dynamics with applications to robotics systems and nonlinear dynamics with application to human and animal locomotion. Dan B. Marghitu has been a PI/Co-PI of funded projects and has organized and chaired many international conferences.

Andrej Dįvid - University of ®ilina, Slovak
Assoc. Prof. Andrej Dįvid graduated as an engineer from the Department of Water Transport at the University of Žilina in 2001 in the study programs Water Transport in the Specialization, Operation, and Economics. After his graduation, he continued his studies as a PhD student. In 2006, he completed his PhD study with his dissertation thesis: The Proposal of the Port of Žilina as Multimodal Transport Logistics Centre in the study program Transport and Communication Technology. Between 2006 and 2012, he worked as a scientific assistant teaching various maritime and inland water transport courses. In 2012, he defended his habilitation thesis: The Container Terminals in Maritime Ports and their Handling Systems in the study program Transport. Nowadays, he organizes and teaches courses in maritime transport, inland navigation, and logistics such as Maritime Transport and Maritime Containers, Waterways, Technical Equipment of a Port, and Logistics. He has participated as a project manager in 11 EU and national projects focused on the various areas of inland water transport and logistics within various European programs such as Southeast Europe Programme, ERASMUS + K 2, or Scientific Grant Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and Slovak Academy of Sciences. He is a member of EDINNA (Education in Inland Navigation) and the Slovak Navigation Congress.

Eng. Tudor Potop, a graduate in Road Vehicles from the Faculty of Mechanics at the University of Craiova, he established and expanded the firm CAD Works INTERNATIONAL in collaboration with fellow alumnus Eng. Claudiu BĪRLOGEANU. The endeavours undertaken throughout nearly thirty years have consistently focused on delivering computer-aided design and implementation solutions. Consequently, the company is now capable of deploying a computer-aided design system in any enterprise engaged in mechanical, electrical, and electronic design activities, encompassing constructive design, strength calculations, optimizations, machining on numerically controlled machines, as well as reverse engineering and additive manufacturing applications. We currently leverage 28 years of expertise in cutting-edge technologies effectively utilized across diverse sectors, including automotive, transportation, aerospace, defence, energy, machinery and equipment, consumer goods, medical, education, research, construction, architecture, electronics, and electrotechnics.
