THEME OF THE SEMINAR:
Research and reevaluation of teaching methodology in the field of mechanisms in accordance with the European objectives
OBJECTIVES
The theme of the seminar is in accordance with the main objectives of research in Romania – to achieve high level scientific and technological results, compatible with the ones at European level, in order to increase the international perception of Romanian research. We especially follow the integration of Romanian research in the field of mechanisms into The National plan for research, development and innovation for the period 2007-2013 (PNII).
Taking into account that graduates must be capable of proving up-to-date professional skills for technological, scientific and economic reasons it is very important to re-evaluate the teaching methodology of the mechanisms courses.
General information
We invite participants from Romanian and other universities to submit papers according to the theme of the seminar. The papers will be published in proceedings edited by Publishing House SITECH Craiova, accredited by CNCSIS (ISBN 978-973-746-910-6). The costs of the proceedings will be supported by organisers.
For regular information concerning the National Seminar on Mechanisms we propose a brief presentation of the two previous seminars SNM’06 and SNM’07, which were held in Brasov and Cluj respectively.
The papers will be written in Romanian and/or English.
The web site address of the seminar is http://mecanica.ucv.ro/snm08, with an English-language version and a Romanian-language version; it will contain: announcements, instructions on writing papers, events, publications and lectures during the SNM’08.
The scientific activities will be complemented with cultural ones.
